Job Description:

In Vanuatu, Oxfam supports communities to develop livelihoods and key assets and increase their resilience to climate change, natural disasters and economic shocks. Oxfam also supports civil society organisations to develop their individual and collective capacity to deliver effective programs to

their communities and supports their communities to be able to better engage in decisions that affect them. Oxfam delivers its programs by working in partnership with other civil society organisations and provides a range of support including institutional strengthening, project funding and facilitating issue based network. Oxfam also work closely

with key government department’s including the National Disaster Management Office and the Meteorology and Geo-Hazards Department. Oxfam is currently seeking to recruit a talented individual.

Duties and responsibilities:

1) Responsible for ensuring our overall country program is developed, monitored, evaluated and reported on based on good practice and continuous improvement

2) It involves supporting program managers and our partner organisations in the design, M&E and reporting of their work and being able to identify and articulate the impact achieved.

Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- Experience in design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of programs; Demonstrated experience and up-to-date knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and learning approached and tools and in

utilising participatory methods

- Experience and knowledge of using program management systems; Expertise and experience in a wide range of organizational and individual capacity development approaches

- Qualifications or skills in a relevant technical discipline (public health, youth issues, gender) or equivalent sustainable experience

- Experience in the management of donor contracts/funding an advantage; Proven analytical skills and extensive experience in developing a range communications including donor reports, case

studies, video etc

- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
