Job Description:

The Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu wish to recruit for Korvan Community Health School a suitable person who can assume the responsibility of a Nursing Teacher & Coordinator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) To teach at the Korvan Community Health School

2) To organize health educations programs and draw up teaching time table

3) Be able to teach practical clinical practices

4) Be able to evaluate and help in the development of the curriculum

5) To liaise and coordination the development of health education materials for church in close collaboration with the government and other bodies

6) To participate in drawing up the business plan of the school.

Interested applicant must have the following:

Criteria:

- Must have a certificate of nursing recognised by Vanuatu Health Practitioners’ Board; Must have a knowledge of health care issues in Vanuatu; Experience in teaching nursing and administration

- A God fearing person; A year 13 school leaver or five or more years in the field of public health.
