Job Description:

We seek a dynamic Country Director to manage our program in Vanuatu. This is a Senior Manager position in our pacific region team, and will be expected to travel domestically and internationally. The contract is fulltime, fixed term for 2 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) The Country Director provides strategic leadership of the country program

2) Ensuring high quality

3) Impact in working with communities and partners

4) Represent the organisation at the country level

5) Manage complex change and ensure that gender equality is promoted

6) Integrated at the organisational and program levels.

Interested applicant must have the following requirements:

Criteria:

- Have strong analytical and the ability to think strategically, including to think beyond the country program context and act within a regional and global framework; Be a highly effective team leader

capable of motivating, supporting and empowering a dynamic country team; Have experience of working at a senior level with Oxfam or a similar agency

- Have experience of managing complex change processes and relationships involving a range of internal and external multi-cultural stakeholders; Have experience of leading humanitarian, long term

development and advocacy program.

Salary:

The numeration and benefits package for this position will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
