Budget, Financial Management and Control

Assist the Country Director in the preparation of the annual budget, overseeing budgetary planning and cost management, as well as updating the accounting system if necessary

Job Desctiption:

- Develop sales & marketing strategy and define a clear and differentiated market position for the hotel.

- Track Hotels reputation in social media and on consumer - based feedback sites and respond to consumer generated feedback to show online connection to consumers and care for future /past quest opinion.
- Work with the General Manager and other key leaders, to develop and manage the annual advertising and promotional plan and budget.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to strategically target need periods, always working in line with business requirements.
- Ensure that all IHG sales & marketing tools and partnership are utilized to full potential, delivering front of mind awareness internally and externally.
- Monitor competitive set marketing and promotional activities and advise tactical change to General Manager.
- Develop and leverage sponsorship opportunities and establish strong community involvement.

 

Selection Criteria:

Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field and 3 or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team. Strong knowledge of local business and business trends required.
