The Compliance Junior role is to ensure a high level of interaction, communication, and service with existing and potential customers by performing a range of client and business-facing functions and internal KYC operational processes, whilst maintaining a risk mindset.

The role includes ongoing training for the role via online training from our Sydney office. You will have ongoing support around your facilitation of the role.


The Compliance Junior is expected to provide day to day trading compliance support to the Firm, foster inter-departmental relationships, as well as assist in managing vendor relationships.

All dealings with both external and internal customers, vendors and government bodies must be efficient, effective and professional at all times.


Your key responsibilities may include liaising with the client as well as front and middle office staff to obtain required KYC and legal documentation prior to set-up, performing and managing client on-boarding, interfacing with different business desks on any customer lifecycle management related queries, and forming subject matter expertise allowing you to provide quality control checks for staff who KYC research on new and existing clients, and drive value-add change and initiatives to our stakeholders

 

Selection Criteria:

Produce quality work without supervision.
Proficiency in English
Be energetic, enthusiastic & self motivated.
Computer skills (more specifics ie MS Excel etc).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working under pressure and is results driven.
Works confidently in a team environment.

Any experience in a compliance role or similar is a plus.
