Criteria:
We are looking for a Logistic
Officer to join our team based in Tanna, Tafea Province.
The Logistics Officer
is responsible for supporting CARE’s procurement and logistics operations in
the Tanna office. Working closely with program and finance staff, the Logistics
Officer is instrumental in supporting program activities through his/her
services.
Required qualification and skills
- Bachelor
degree or TVET diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum of
one year of experience in logistics
- Proven
ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas and systems
- Proven
ability to plan, manage and monitor the effective use and safekeeping of fixed
assets and financial resources
- Good analytical
and negotiating skills
- Good
knowledge of computer management and applications
- Proficient
in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Competency
in database and GPS an asset
- Willingness
to be based in Tanna and travel to the outer islands
- Written
and oral fluency in English, Bislama, and Tanna local languages.
