Empowering Vanua Malagwelo Project



The Vanuatu Red Cross Society is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill the following position as part of its VRCS team. 
    Criteria: 
    Qualifications and profile required
    • Post-secondary education (preferably in a related field), year 13 or above
    • Experience working in or with development organizations/NGOs
    • Experience managing volunteers
    • Experience in community work (preferably working with women/girls)
    • Experience in monitoring & evaluation of project activities
    • Familiarity with financial management processes.

     Knowledge & skills required
    • Excellent computer skills (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Strong sense of responsibility and control
    • Interest in sharing professional skills as well as learning from others
    • Knowledge of the Vanuatu context
    • Fluent Bislama required
    • Fluent English and/or French required
    • Open-minded, dynamic and flexible
    • Knowledge of Red Cross movement will be an asset
    • Driving license will be an asset.
