              The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is the national governing body for the game of cricket in Vanuatu and one of the country’s leading sporting organisations. The association is now welcoming applications for the position of Competitions & CUS Development Officer, in the nation’s capital, Port Vila.

              The Competitions & CUS Development Officer is responsible for the operation of all club and senior competitions in Vanuatu including Men’s and Women’s club Competition, Junior club cricket and the Business House League. Operationally the Competitions & CUS Development Officer is responsible for all aspects of running these matches, including logistics & events, management of match officials and match data input into our cricket database.

              The Competitions & CUS Development Officer is also responsible for the development and facilitation of the Coaching, Umpiring and Scoring programs and pathways of the Vanuatu Cricket Association. This includes running training courses and maintaining a database of coaches, umpires and scorers and assisting their development. The Competitions & CUS Development Officer will also be the liaison between all clubs & teams, match officials including the Cricket Umpires Association of Vanuatu, CricHQ and all volunteers and staff involved in VCA competitions.

                                                  The Trade Development Division in the Ministry of Tourism, Trade, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTCNVB) is seeking a consultant to provide the following services: quality review of key policy initiatives under the Ministry; support in the preparation of the National Trade Development Committee Meeting (NTDC) through added capacity to review the NTDC issue papers; and drafting of key documents to secure support for Aid-for-Trade projects.
