Job Desctiption:
Purpose of the Position is:
• To enhance the quality and standards of Post-School Education and Training (PSET), and to contribute to the achievement of the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority through the quality policies and systems
• To provide sound professional support to quality assurance matters
• Develop and monitor the Vanuatu Quality Assurance Framework (VQAF)
• Ensure the VQAF system is established, implemented, and reviewed
• Oversee/supervise and coordinate the provider registration process
• Oversee/supervise and coordinate the program/course accreditation process
• Lead and coordinate the Validation and Quality Assurance Committee
Selection Criteria:
• Bachelor's Degree (Education, TVET, Quality Assurance and/or related field)
• Significant previous experience in quality assurance policies and practice or experience in a senior level in post-school education and training
• Relevant experience in policy development, strategic planning, annual budgeting and management
• Has the ability to develop collaboratively with providers and stakeholders on the quality assurance requirements and qualifications framework
• Can demonstrate the ability to communicate and implement in a robust manner the quality assurance requirements and processes
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the wide scope of post-school education and training both locally and internationally
• Has knowledge of relevant legislation governing the VQA's operations in particular the quality assurance requirements
• High level of computer literacy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Analytical and practical thinker
• Demonstrate ability in report writing and sound decision making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and managing resources
• Fluent in English, Bislama or French

• Ensure the Vanuatu PSET Quality Assurance System is implanted, operational and maintained

• Ensure the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) is functional and registration reports are submitted

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Education and/or training on Quality Assurance or Training Assessment)

Job Desctiption:
You will lead a team of 12 people in implementing this program across 12 communities in SHEFA.
This main responsibilities of this position are:
• Ensure effective and inclusive strategies for activity delivery are developed
• Organise programs and activities in accordance with the ASPP workplan and budget
• Work with local government, sporting bodies, NGOs and private sector stakeholders to ensure the program goals are met.
• Identify and analyse program risks
• Manage a team with of both full time and part time staff and volunteers
• Ensure activity and reporting timelines are met
• Manage a budget and operating plan for the program
• Identify training and upskilling activities for the program
• Taking note of all major activities and outcomes to be included in the report.
• Identifying training and upskilling activities
• Ensuring M&E department collect relevant data and ensure they are aware of activities.
• Completion and submission of reports in a timely fashion.
Selection Criteria:
3+ years experience in managing people
• 3+ years experience in implementing community programs that empower youth and women
• 3+ years experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with communities and governments/NGOs
