A luxury motor yacht charter operation, is seeking an experienced person for the position of:
CAPTAIN
  • To have overall responsibility for the running of the vessel and operations of the business
  • Provide training for all the crew on board including responsibility for the safety of guests and crew on board and compliance with all regulations.

Skills required:
  • Applicants are required to have at least 10 years' experience in a Captain's role conducting sport fishing charters and as well as extensive experience on-board large luxury motor yachts
  • New Zealand Offshore Master, STCW 95 unlimited endorsed
  • Dive Master and Ship Master Medic certificates
  • General Radio operations certificate, advance fire fighting certificate and Marine Engineer certificate class 4 or higher.

              We seek a skilled Finance Support Advisor to join our team. This role will advise on and support program finance initiatives across the Vanuatu program, supporting Oxfam staff and partners with budget development, financial capacity building, finance monitoring and financial reporting. The role will work to strengthen the financial management capacity and compliance with policies and processes of Oxfam’s operations team, our program managers and our partners to ensure that practices are in line with Oxfam finance systems, policies and frameworks, local statutory and compliance needs and donor requirements. 

              Criteria:
              You will have: 
              • A degree in financial management or related discipline and at least intermediate level professional qualification from a professional accounting body
              • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in development or private sector
              • Experience and capability in motivating and training others (both finance and non-finance staff) in financial procedures and concepts
              • Demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge and direct experience in the field of auditing
              • Experience in developing financial processes and templates in line with existing policies
              • Knowledge about financial procedures of major donor agencies an advantage
              • Strong computer literacy, strong proven experience in computerised accounting packages, advanced Excel Spreadsheets and internet based programs including MYOB.
