Job Description: Reporting into the Manager for SPC Solomon Islands, the purpose of the role is to coordinate the implementation of Cyclone PAM recovery activities in 4 countries, across SPC divisions to ensure that results are achieved, reported and learning that is shared. Responsibilities will also include: Coordination of reporting, including financial reporting to the donors and countries involved Administration for all funds received relating to implementation activities of the more than 30 projects in the four countries: liaise with finance officers across all divisions with budget line items, and ensure accurate reporting to SPC’s Noumea-based Finance Unit; ensure that spending is in line with SPC’s financial obligations Support divisions with procurement activities, which adhere to SPC’s procurement guidelines: ensure that procurement is completed within time frames to achieve project outcomes, and that procured items are successfully delivered in a timely manner and within budget Ensure that all government focal points are kept informed of SPC’s activities relating to this project on a quarterly basis, either in person or via Skype meetings.
