Job Desctiption:
We are seeking a detailed-oriented and results-driven Project engineer to oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the cross functional teams, ensuing projects are executed efficiently, within budget and in compliance with the industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
Project planning & execution: Develop project plans, timelines and budgets while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Technical support: Provide engineering expertise in project design, implementation and troubleshooting.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between teams, including design, procurement and construction, ensuing seamless execution.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations and client requirements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, prepare progress reports and present updates to management and clients.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
Selection Criteria:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project engineering, construction or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and leadership skills.
Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PE License or equivalent industry certifications.
