Job Desctiption:
Must be responsible for overseeing the financial management and procurement activities of the organization. This role ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations while driving cost-effective purchasing strategies and maintaining accurate financial records.
Selection Criteria:
Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, procurement or related field. Master degree preferred.
Must have 5 years experience in finance and procurement, preferably in (NGO/private/public sector)
Must have strong knowledge of financial regulations and procurement best practices
Must have proficiency in accounting software and MS office suite
Must have excellent analytical, negotiation and leadership skills
Key responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with financial and procurement policies and donor regulations
Review and approve purchase requests, bids and vendor contracts
Monitor cash flow, expenditures and internal contracts
Liaise with auditors, vendors and other stakeholders
Lead and support finance and procurement staff, ensuring capacity building and efficiency
