EXIM Vanuatu Ltd is a privately owned Vanuatu retailer specialising in the sales and service of vehicles, tyres, wheels, brakes and suspension. The company is growing it’s business and is
seeking two Head Automotive Technicians to lead a small team of Mechanics.

About the Position
As a Head Automotive Technician, you will
be required but not limited to manage and direct EXIM workshop staff as
required to provide product and service to the customer, and to assist the
Store Manager in the operation of the Store. You will be able to carry out
mechanical duties, tyre fitting, wheel balancing as well as ensuring customer
satisfaction and adherence to Policies and Procedures as defined by EXIM and
comply with WH&S Rules, Regulations & Procedures.
Criteria:
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following essential skills and knowledge:
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (minimum Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
- 10 to 15 years experience as a Head Automotive
Technician
- 5 to 10 years experience on diesel engines
- Motivate team members to take interest and pride in their workmanship
- Value quality workmanship and customer service
- Sound communication skills
- Maintain customer satisfaction levels
- Maintain a high standard of service
- Successful repair of all Customer vehicles
- Manage team members to successfully complete work in a safe
manner
- Excellent team player
- Numerate within appropriate IT skills
- Hold a current and full drivers licence
- Punctual and Reliable.
