Peace Corps Vanuatu wishes to recruit a highly qualified Ni-Vanuatu professional as the Administrative Assistant/Travel Specialist (AA/TS). The Administrative Assistant/Travel Specialist is a new position in the Peace Corps Vanuatu Post that reports directly to the Director of Management and Operations. The Administrative Assistant/Travel Specialist serves as primary point of contact for all Peace Corps official travels. The AA/TS position coordinates staff and volunteer in-country and international travels and hotel bookings, maintains administrative filing systems, completes data entry, files transactions documents, and enters payment into PC payment systems.

Qualifications:A year 12 certificate is required. A tertiary qualification in accounting, business, finance or related fields is preferredCombination of a completed secondary school, secretarial certificate, computing or accounting technicianThree to five years of related experience in accounting, bookkeeping or similar duties is essentialComputer literacy with good proficiency in MS Word, Excel and AccessExcellent English communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge of French is helpfulAble to pass a U.S. Embassy background security investigationPossession of valid driver's license; and ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
