| | 1. The Department of Energy within the Ministry of Climate Change and Natural Diaster is now seeking for a consultant to under take the services of a Financial Specialist to manage the budget and financial reporting requirements of the Energy Sector Development Project and other World Bank (WB) energy projects. |

| | 2. The consultant assignment is for 10 months and commencing in August 2014-June 2015. He/She shall report directly to the Director of Energy. |

| | Selection Criteria: |
| | The Consultant shall have the following qualifications: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - At least 5 years experience in position with similar responsibilities. |
| | - University graduate in Accounting or Financial Administration/Management and/or any relevant field. |
| | - Excellent understanding of government finance procedures and processes, and ability to work with a range of agencies at the national level. |
| | - Previous experience with World Bank or other donor financed programs would be highly desirable. |
| | - Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to make clear, structured presentation to a broad range of audiences. |
| | - Excellent writing skills and ability to prepare clear, concise reports. |
| | - Fluent in Bislama and English, with French an advantage. |
