| | Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking local applications for this multi-faceted and technically focused position within its transmission team. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Optimization & planning of 2.5 and 3G coverage and redesign the network improvements |
| | 2) Redesign planning and implementation for coverage improvements |
| | 3) Worst cell optimization, stats monitoring |
| | 4) Design and deployment of indoor coverage solutions |
| | 5) Capacity planning using aircom planning tool |
| | 6) Frequency/scrambling code planning |
| | 7) Drive test logs analysis and planning |
| | 8) Alarm monitoring and escalations with supervision tools |
| | 9) GPRS configuration and optimization. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Engineer degree in Telecommunication; 5 years experience in the telecom field; Good knowledge of ALU equipment =>BSC/RNC/BTS/NodeB |
| | - ALU Supervision OMC-R/WMS configuration site/cell/TRX/HR creation and configuration; BSS equipment (BTS, Node B, RNC, Mx and G2) and supervision equipment (OMC-R, WMS) |
| | - Predication tools (Aircom); Drive test; Demonstrable success in staff development and mentoring |
| | - Fluent in English and French language. |
