| | Our client, a leading resort operating in Port Vila requires a mature, motivated person for the above position. He/she will be part of a small management team and will report directly to the directors. |
| | An attractive salary package will be offered to the right person. |
| | Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for the overseeing of trade debtors and creditors 2) Be responsible for the resort’s overall cash flow. |
| | Interested candidate must have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - The applicant will have a tertiary qualification in accounting or similar discipline; Have at least 5 years experience in a senior finance position in a large hotel or resort; Obviously budgeting skills |
| | - Be a computer literate and familiar with MYOB accounting software; Familiar with hospitality industry software; Experience in the Pacific Islands whilst not essential would be well regarded |
| | - Will lead up a small team of accounting staff and must be able to work to district reporting deadlines; Must be able to prepare management accounts and annual statutory accounts and be the |
| | contact point for the resort’s auditors |
| | - Excellent written and spoken english are essential and a knowledge of french and bislama would be highly regarded. |
