| | Vanuatu Terminal services Limited (VTS) wishes to recruit a qualified Manager for its Bauerfield Aircraft Ground Handling Services. |
| | |
| | Duties and Responsibilities: |
| | 1) Manage VTS day-to-day aircraft ground handling activities, including the cargo freighter services in accordance with client airlines’ policies & standard operating procedures (SOP’s), and all contractual arrangements. This will include regular client airlines and ad hoc international charter operations |
| | 2) To coordinate and facilitate VTS staff safety training programmes in accordance with VTS policies |
| | 3) Management and monitoring of the on time performances (OTP’s) and key performance indicators (KPI’s) for airline turn around efficiency |
| | 4) Management and handling of aircraft delays, including ramp, customer services and group support equipment (GSE) availabilities |
| | 5) Develop, implement, review and monitor aircraft ground handling process & procedures and training programme to ensure that the operations of Vanuatu Terminal Services Limited Ground handling comply with relevant local & international legislative and contractual obligations |
| | 6) Manage the aircraft ground handling team to achieve high standards on services provided and to the clients’ requirements and satisfaction level |
| | 7) Accountable for the safety of operations and for providing a safe work place |
| | 8) Manage and monitor punctuality and grooming standards of customer services & ramp staffs. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Airline trainers’ approval certificate, Cert IV in training and assessment or equivalent; Relevant airline operational supervisory training; Extensive experience in airport ground handling operations |

| | - Extensive communication skills in english & french at a managerial level; Skills to assist in negotiating contracts with airlines; Organization commitment; Attention to detail; Strong performance |
