| | Applications are invited for the position of Maintenance Planner with Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited. The position will be based at Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited, Port Vila, Vanuatu. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Report directly to the Airworthiness Controller in the Planning and Technical Services Division within the Operations Department |
| | 2) Preparation, publishing, distribution, control recording and storing of maintenance records and data |
| | 3) Responsible for providing forecasts on specified deadlines to the engineering department. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Should have a minimum of 5 years experience in planning the following aircraft or similar type: ATR72, Twin Otter, Harbin Y12 and islander; Knowledge of and experience in using the IAS maintenance |
| | tracking system would be an advantage; Management experience working within a medium to large business either in Vanuatu or Overseas |
| | - Excellent organizational and planning skills; Flexibility to work a variety of hours to suit business demands, including weekends when required; Excellent oral, written and communications skills |
| | required; Current drivers licence and passport essential |
| | - Must be able to provide police clearance and a medical report declaring fitness to undertake all appropriate duties. |
