| | A local import, commodities retail/wholesale and export company is seeking an experienced person for the position of Operations & Sales Manager in Santo. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Proven history of at least 10 years experience in a sales and operation role within the commodities and hardware industry in the Pacific; A proven background in the general commodities trading |
| | industry including wholesale and FMCG; Sound experience in daily operational requirements of the commodities and hardware industry |
| | - Experience in setting sales budgets and monitoring performance and analysing results; Proven strong people skills and human resource management experience, to select and train staff in all aspects |
| | of sales and operational knowledge |
| | - Sound knowledge inventory control, stock taking procedures and warehousing as well as working knowledge in occupational safety and health; Problem solving skills and ability to budget, work |
| | within set parameters, monitor and report on operations to head office |
| | - Strong customer service ethic who can lead to example motivate and coach the team in all sales and operational aspects of the business; Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with |
| | the ability to report to upper management and conversely to down line subordinates |
| | - A keen attituded to succeed in the business arena including rapport with internal and external stakeholders like suppliers and other relevant authorities; Computer literacy, including microsoft word |
