|  | CARE International in Vanuatu is looking for an Administration/ Logistic Officer to support ongoing and future DRR/ CCA community based project .This position is mainly based in Port Vila. The ADMINISTRATION/ LOGISTIC OFFICER will assist the CARE Program Manager and Finance Manager to ensure the effective administration, logistic, human | 
|  | resources and safety and Security tasks in accordance with projects and staff. Duties and responsibilities: | 
|  | 1) Ensure that all Administration, Human resources and logistic procedures are well applied in accordance with Care or Donors requirements | 
|  | 2) Conduct orientation for new staff on administrative, logistic, Human resources and Safety/Security procedures | 
|  | 3) Ensure good knowledge/understanding of CARE procurement procedures and/ or donor’s requirement procedures. (Quotations procedures, Bid analysis, purchase procedures, suppliers contracts…) | 
|  | 4) Ensure that all quotations, contract suppliers and procurement documentation are done based on donor’s requirement procedures and/or CARE procedures before submission to the Finance Manager for approval | 
|  | 5) Organize all the quotations, purchase and transport delivery and to regularly update local supplier’s data base on price and conditions in Efate and other islands as required | 
|  | 6) Make all hotel and travel bookings in the appropriate timeframe based on program field activities work plan | 
|  | 7) Develop paper and computerized filing system linked with all administration and logistic tasks | 
|  | 8) Ensure that IT equipment are well functioning and provide regular maintenance, as requested | 
|  | 9) Ensure IT basic training to the staff on the use of computer and back up system | 
|  | 10) Ensure communication & logistic tasks, adhering to CARE International protocols, before, during & after disasters. |

|  | Criteria: | 
|  | - Diploma in office administration, logistic, business studies, organization & development; Minimum Five years of work experience as Administration / logistic officer preferably for an international | 
|  | non governmental humanitarian organization (INGOs); Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel ,Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft outlook); Proficient in IT skills and maintenance | 
|  | - Fluent in written and spoken english and bislama; Ability to prioritize, problem-solved and meet agreed deadlines; Open-minded, willing to learn, respectful towards all the CARE staff; Respect of the | 
|  | principles, core values and internal procedures of the organization; A Vanuatu national. |
