| | The Ministry of Health (MOH) is seeking a suitably qualified individual for the above named position. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Develop costed infrastructure development and maintenance plans for the ministry |
| | 2) Develop scoping and contract documents for contracting third parties to manage and/or construct infrastructure works |
| | 3) Prepare procurement documentation for submission to the central tender’s board |
| | 4) Oversee and manage contracted third parties, including site visits, co-ordinating meetings and reviewing claims assisting the ministry with the prioritization of infrastructure works based on strategic goals |
| | 5) Prepare reports including progress and cost reports. |
| | Intersted applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Certificate in construction, engineer, architect, project management or similar field with a tertiary qualification highly regarded; 10 years working experience in technical field as above, experience in |
| | the management and delivery of infrastructure projects would be highly regarded |
| | - Driving licence, computer skills, ability to draft and interpret drawings and technical specification documents; Planner, practical, solution and results orientated, vigilant and able to practice ideas; |
| | Communication, good writing and leadership skills |
| | - Be reliable, punctual, honest and hardworking; Bislama, english or french. |
