| | The Ministry of Education with the support of United Nations Children’s fund (UNICEF) invites applications for the position mentioned above. UNICEF is seeking a consultant or institution to do the following. The consultant/institution will be based in Port Vila, Vanuatu, located at the Ministry of Education Office with some travel to selected provinces. The |
| | consultant/institution will be expected to provide their own laptop during the assignment. Rules and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Organize and facilitate consultation with the Ministry of Finance, and Economic Management (MEEM) |
| | 2) Ministry of Education (MoE), key partners and communities in Vanuatu to finalize a comprehensive communication plan on the School Giants Programme |
| | 3) Develop and monitor key activities to promote awareness and accountability among the people of Vanuatu on use of school grants to improve quality of education in Vanuatu |
| | 4) Focus on building government staff capacity in communication campaign management. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - University Degree in Communication for Behaviour Change, Communication and Advocacy or related field; Minimum 3 years professional experience in communication, education and advocacy; Demonstrate |
| | experience in managing Communication, Advocacy, Social Marketing and Education projects or programmes in the social sector |
| | - Experiences working with primary education development and advocacy and policies in Vanuatu an advantage; Demonstrated experience working with community engagement and facilitation of |
| | communication processes and ability to produce, pre-test and finalise communication material; Strong planning and excellent communication skills. |
