The Organisation | ||
The National Bank’s Saratamata Branch in East Ambae works jointly with its Amata Branch on the Western side of Ambae to provide retail, microfinance and community banking services to NBV clients on Ambae. The Bank is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill up the following position. | ||
The Position | ||
This Microfinance Officer works closely with the Branch staff to provide Micro financial and banking services to NBV clients in East Ambae and surrounding communities. It plays a pivotal role in supporting rural business development through community awareness, financial literacy workshops and community banking for NBV customers in East Ambae and on the island of Maewo.

Essential Selection Criteria | ||
► Certificate in Business (or related field) | ||
► At least 5 years' experience in Rural and Community Business Development | ||
► Sound Financial Analysis Skills | ||
► Good understanding of Credit Analysis | ||
► Good Customer Service Skills | ||
Desirable Selection Criteria | ||
► Good Leadership and Assertive Skills | ||
► Good Communication & Interpersonal Skllls | ||
► Ability to work as a Team | ||
► Valid Vanuatu driving license is desirable | ||

The National Bank's Luganville Branch which supports all its rural branches in the Northern region of Vanuatu, is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill up the new Logistics Officer position. | ||
The Position | ||
This is a support officer role that will work closely with all Luganville branch staff and the Logistics team at the Head Office in Port Vila. It will carry out logistics activities in Luganville to ensure banking services are efficiently delivered to all clients and staff of NBV branches in the Northern Region. | ||
Essential Selection Criteria | ||
► Secondary or Tertiary Education required | ||
► At least 2 years' experience in logistics or similar roles | ||
► Valid Vanuatu driving license | ||
► Good planning and time management skills | ||
► Computer Literacy | ||
Desirable Selection Criteria | ||
► Recent Police Clearance < 12 months | ||
► Good communication skills | ||
► Open minded, dynamic and flexible | ||
► Ability to work as a team | ||
