Job Description:
The Sales Representative is responsible for initiating customer sales and maintaining company sales targets. He/she is also responsible for managing customer accounts including collection of debts when required. He/she is in charge of maintaining Vanuatu Brewing Ltd as leader on the following markets:
  • Local beers with Tusker Premium, Tusker OP, Tusker Lemon, Vanuatu Bitter marks
  • Wines and spirits imported
  • Non-alcoholic beverages (Soft such as Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, …).
The Sales Representative is recognized as the first face of the company in connection with the external environment of the company. He/she must maintain the company’s integrity to the highest possible standard and adhere to guidelines administered to ensure customer satisfaction and their ability to easily purchase goods.

The customers are mainly professionals: Retailers, Wholesalers, Cafés, Restaurant, Hotels and Nakamals.
Criteria:
  • Preferably with a University Degree or having studied abroad
  • Special Education in Trade and Marketing or related discipline
  • Must have at least two years’ experience in knowledge sales principles and practices, Knowledge of commercial reporting
  • Must have computer skills especially in Word and Excel, problem analysis and problem solving skills, initiative and dateline – oriented skills and team work
  • Must be able to build all necessaries relationship to speed sales
  • Must be able to increase the quality of customer service and so customer satisfaction
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be Honest, reliable, and of good character. Be punctual at work
  • Must speak English or French and Bislama.

Job Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) is the only social security organisation in Vanuatu that was established by the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers for when they retire at the age of 55. It also provides for permanent incapacity, and survivors benefit in the event of death.

Based in our Head Office operations in Port Vila, we currently have an opportunity for a new Director – Funds Management to join our Senior Executive Team.

Reporting to the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, the primary purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate all funds management activities with the aim to deliver on investment objectives, manage and nurture internal and external client relationships and expectations, as well as develop and implement strategies to manage risks on the Fund and corporate levels, while at the same time maximising Fund profitability and sustainability.

As a previous Senior Leader, this role will provide the successful candidate with a strong platform to demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills which will be utilised in providing coaching and mentoring to the professional and energetic team members reporting directly to you.

                Increasing Resilience to Climate Change and Natural Hazards Project

                Job Description:
                  The Vanuatu Meteorological and Geo-hazard Department (VGMD) and National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) have secured funding for a large-scale national adaptation and disaster risk reduction project designed to address Vanuatu’s immediate climate change adaptation needs and mitigate natural disaster risks.

                  The Provincial Disaster Officer will work as a part of NDMO to implement strategies in ensuring Vanuatu is better prepared and more able to respond to Natural Hazards.

                  The Provincial Disaster Officer will be contracted initially for 1 year and be based within the provincial center in Tanna, reporting to the NDMO office in Port Vila.

                  Criteria: 
                  The successful applicant will have:
                  Required qualifications:
                  • Diploma, Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Disaster or Public Administration, Climate Change, Environmental Studies or related field or equivalent work experience
                  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Bislama, French an advantage
                  • At least 1 year experience working in emergency, disaster, climate change, community development or related field within Vanuatu
                  • Willing to travel regularly
                  • Driver’s license is essential
                  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
