Job Desctiption:
Purpose of Position 
  As Operations Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a  critical member of the Operations team focused on running a smooth and safe  facility for excellent visitor experience. You play a key role in the daily  operations of the facility – ensuring a smooth admissions process, overseeing  operation of the point-of-sale system, ensuring the operations team are  providing visitors with exceptional customer service during their visit, and  supporting the finance, bookings and maintenance staff. Competitive salary,  flexible working hours. Full time or part time. 
Selection Criteria:
EXPERIENCE 
  •	5+ years experience managing employees
  •	10+ years in customer service skills
  •	5+ years in cash handling experience and knowledge of POS systems
  •	5+ years experience using financial management systems, managing accounts  and presenting financial/budget information
  •	Experience in advertising
  •	Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  
  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
  •	Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse customer  base
  •	Excellent written and communication skills, preferably in English. Bislama  and French desirable
  •	Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to multitask and  proactively follow through on projects
  •	Ability to be a role model of customer service, demonstrate flexibility and  manage staff in a fast-paced environment where demands often change
  •	Ability to hold staff accountable for following policies and guidelines
  •	Self-starter able to take charge of a task once assigned, but welcoming of  feedback from all staff and open to adaptation for the betterment of Messy  Haos
  •	Strong team player: able to engage with diverse staff to gather, make sense  of and use programmatic and financial information for effective and strategic  operations
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS
  •	Bachelor's Degree in business, Human resources, Accounting, or another  related field. Relevant work experience may substitute.
  •	Certificate in accounting (desired)
  •	Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates are a plus (desired)
  •	Must obtain police clearance (locally if a Vanuatu resident, internationally  if not a citizen or resident)
