Job Description | 
| 
GENERAL • Responsible for the efficient overall management of the Resort’s operations; • Supports and works with all Managers in all aspects of running the Resort; • monitors the co-ordination between all departments to ensure smooth & efficient operations; • highlights short/medium/long-term issues and helps formulate solutions; • conducts regular operations team meetings with all department heads to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, guest feedback and action taken for service recovery, and also discuss any staff issues; • be on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies. RESERVATIONS & MARKETING • Manages search engine optimization and internet marketing, improve and update Resort’s website and social media platforms: • communicates and negotiates contracts with international booking engines, travel agents, airlines, social and print media platforms; • creates and implements marketing, advertising and sales campaigns on platforms such as international tourism websites and social media; • builds and maintains relationships with internal and external guests; • conducts weekly or daily meetings to follow up guest enquiries to solidify reservations and grow the business; • provides timely and constructive feedback and response to all guest reviews; • assesses and reviews customer satisfaction and service recovery process; MAINTENANCE • Ensures the premises and apartments are in operative condition to receive and serve guests; • ensures maintenance is completed in a timely manner during routine operational checks; HUMAN RESOURCES • Meets with respective Managers to train and review staff performance; • identifies staff learning needs and assists with development; STOCK CONTROL • Randomly inspects Housekeeping, Maintenance and Restaurant stocks to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc) with Head Housekeeper, Maintenance Supervisor, F&B Manager & Head Chef; • deals with suppliers to ensure purchase of quality products at reasonable cost; • provides performance assessment of vendors every quarter to General Manager; • inspects all departments with respective Managers for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture; ACCOUNTING • monitors the purchase requirements in various departments, accounts receivable collection from debtors and the accounts payable to suppliers; • monitors and maintains operation costs in order to maintain maximum revenue to the Resort; • assists in the preparation of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes; |

  THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT DETAILED BELOW WILL BE REVIEWED - Minimum 5 Year experience in Tourism industry - Minimum 3 Year minimum in a Managerial role in an hotel, resort or boutique (more than 15 rooms). - Professional knowledge & expertise on rate & allotment management with OTAs and channel manager (test will be conducted during interview) - Master Degree in Tourism and/or Business, Economy or Marketing |
