include: 
Listening
to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a saleMaintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in
personResponding to incoming inquiriesActing as
a contact between a company and its existing and potential marketsNegotiating the terms of an agreement and closing salesGathering
market and customer informationRepresenting their company at trade exhibitions, events and
demonstrationsNegotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with RetailersChallenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buyAdvising
on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotionsCreating
detailed proposal documentsLiaising
with stock team to check the progress of existing ordersChecking
the quantities of goods on display and in stock at retail pointsRecording
sales and order information and sending copies to the Street Sales In charge, or entering figures into a computer system
