Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Graphic Designer to be based in Port Vila.
Missions
As a graphic designer, you will be responsible to
create and design solutions that have high visual impact. The role involves
listening to the product managers and understanding the needs before making the
design decision. The designs are required to all TVL products like website, Magazine
insert, posters, and newspapers, Facebook advertising and any other related
designs needed for TVL products.
Activities
- Meeting the products managers and discuss the
needs of the designs needed
- Understanding the products needs and developing a
concept to suit the product
- Estimate the time required to complete the work
and advise the product manager
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and
concepts
- Working with a wide range of media including
photography and computer aided design
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high quality
works
- keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new
media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand,
Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash
- Working on layouts and art working pages ready
for print
- Developing interactive designs
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the
product managers and management
- To help for animation on social media like
Facebook and Twitter
- To continuous making new and up to date artwork
for TVL website.
Criteria:
Knowledge
- Graphic design at University level
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Graphic
designer
- Excellent conceptual thinking
- High knowledge of any graphic designs tools
- Demonstrated experience in effective
- Delivery oriented on schedule and according to
timeline set
- Excellent team work skills
- Fluent in English, Bislama and good understanding
of French
- Excellent written and verbal skill
