Job Description:
With seven offices spanning across the Pacific, Kramer Ausenco is the largest and leading independent professional Project Management and Engineering Services organisation in the region.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Financial Manager to work on a Tanna Island school reconstruction project based in Port Vila. As the Financial Management Expert, you will be required to ensure good governance is prevailed through the project along with

Duties: 
  • Preparing, developing, maintaining and using an accounting database system to maintain all transaction and procurement records
  • Tracking and expediting payments to suppliers, contractors, consultants and others
  • Preparing and submitting payment invoices and withdrawal applications
  • Book keeping of all expenses, payments and accounts
  • Facilitating and cooperating with auditors and procurement audits
  • Reconcile the project expenditures with the records of Department of Finance and Treasury
  • Prepare annual financial statements of the project for annual audit
  • Liaise with the Office of Auditor General and ADB in preparing the terms of reference for an external auditor to undertake the audit of the project accounts
  • Prepare and provide to Team Leader monthly and quarterly financial costs to be submitted with monthly and quarterly progress reports
  • Maintain an asset register for the project
Criteria:
  • To be successful you will preferably have tertiary qualifications in accounting plus additional qualifications in finance
  • You must also be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, of which 2 must be in ABD or other externally assisted projects in dispersement and finance areas
