| | A local import, commodities retail/wholesale and Export Company is seeking an experienced and qualified person for the position of Finance Manager in Port Vila. |
| | Duties and Responsibilities: |
| | 1) Providing all aspects of the company’s financial reporting requirements (financial and management accounting, statutory returns) |
| | 2) Preparing monthly financial reports for management and group reporting |
| | 3) Assist in budget setting |
| | 4) Liaising with auditors and providing information as required |
| | 5) Managing company investment portfolio |
| | 6) Maintaining asset registers and administering company assets |
| | 7) Ensuring effective and regular balance sheet management. |
| | The successful candidate is required to have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A minimum of five years working experience as a senior accountant or financial controller; Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA) or, as a minimum, bachelor degree in accounting |
| | - Demonstrated ability take a leading role in financial management; Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and multi-task in a busy environment |
| | - A high level of computer literacy, including accounting software and MS excel proficiency; Excellent time management, organisational and team skills. |
