| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Draw up a work plan for the implementation of the project/programme in tongoa in collaboration with the project manager, the project team and department of local authorities |
| | 2) Conduct research as necessary and monitor implementation of project activities |
| | 3) Provide regular written reports to the project manager |
| | 4) Implement project activities in Tongoa as directed by the project manager |
| | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A university graduate with a social science degree or relevant equivalent; Strong community experience and fluency in the bislama language and french and advantage; Experience in working with |
| | grassroots/rural communities and have skills in conducting community facilitation and training |
| | - Willingness to travel in rural Vanuatu e.g. Tongoa and Penama province; A strong team player and have strong networking skills; Able to work without or limited supervision; Strong PC based computer, |
| | microsoft applications (in particular Word, Excel and Powerpoint) |
| | - Willingness to learn new applications related to work e.g. devinfo and/or Pop-GIS. |
