| | Peace Corps Vanuatu wishes to recruit a highly qualified Ni-Vanuatu professional as a Senior Level |
| | Programming Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of |
| | Peace Corps Programs. The Program Manager will supervise and support up to forty Peace Corps Volunteers with assignments on over twenty different islands in Vanuatu. |
| | A qualified candidate for this position must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attitudes below: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A well developed understanding of sound and sustainable development theory and real world application. This must be demonstrated and made evident in previous work experience and documented |
| | accomplishment; |
| | - Demonstrated project design and management skills; Proven experience in problem solving, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines for time critical issues; |
| | - Strong writing skills particularly suited for the preparation and writing of monitoring and evaluation reports and project planning documents; Demonstrated capability to design and deliver adult training; |
| | Highly developed analytical skills and the capacity to apply these skills to Peace Corps projects |
| | - Demonstrated skills in administration and the proven capacity to manage budgets; Proven initiative and resourcefulness and the capacity to work with minimal direction while exercising good judgment, |
| | maturity and flexibility |
| | - High level of computer literacy including previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail and the Internet, |
