| | It seeks to employ a suitability qualified and skilled ni-Vanuatu as Commercial and Marketing Technical Advisor under contract to the Vois Blong Yumi project. It is anticipated that the role will be performed on a full time basis. The position is currently funded until 30th June 2010, but it is anticipated to function for a total term of 12 months, subject to continuation of |

| | The Advisor will work to help build the VBTC’s capacity to generated revenue and support its need to become financially self sufficient. He/she will work with VBTC General Manager, relevant staff from the commercial Department and the Vois Blong Yumi project Team Leader to provide assistance in the following areas: |
| | • Developing sales generating strategies for VBTC |
| | • Developing sales promotional concepts for VBTC |
| | • Training in sales and marketing techniques |
| | • Overall customer services improvements |
| | |

| | - Good knowledge of the media in the cultural context of Vanuatu is desirable |
| | - He/she must have an ability to quickly respond to changing priorities and needs. |
