Organisation Description:
The college aims to train farmers and provide farming technologies and skills to boost agricultural
production, contributing to Vanuatu's economic and social development.
Job Desctiption:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the horticulture section of the VAC training program and delivering horticulture training in compliance with VAC policy and VQA standards. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to develop engaging and effective online courses.
Selection Criteria:
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
• Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related area, including a Certificate IV in Vocational Education and Training.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as the Head of the horticulture section.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Analytical and practical thinker.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong team-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Honest, reliable, committed, punctual, and hardworking.
• Proficient in written and oral English or French and Bislama.
• Ability to conduct research
Salary:
Vt 2.693.000 per annum
