Experience and Skill
• At least 25 years experience in Civil Works Design and Supervision.
• At least 15 years experience in Structural Design and Supervision.
• Good knowledge in Pile Driving and working knowledge of Geotechnical Report for pile driving.
• High level of proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Photo Shop and Microsoft Office software i.e. word, excel, MS Project, Power point, etc.
• Good knowledge and understanding of both Vertical and Horizontal construction; i.e. Steel, Timber, Concrete and RC and overall site wide infrastructure, pipe works and earthworks.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Geotechnical Engineering.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Construction Surveying and Layout
• High level of proficiency in Quantity Surveying.
• High level of understanding in working inside the Petroleum Terminal i.e. Mobil, Total, Pacific Energy, etc.
• Experience in working in an Industrial Plant i.e. food manufacturing, cement board, bottling company, etc
• Strong demonstrable communication style and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally
• Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure and strict deadlines, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Ability to work well within a team of other professionals (Consultants, Architects, service engineers etc) in delivering designs and construction to satisfy the agreed brief
Selection Criteria:
• BS Degree/Honours Degree in Civil/Structural Engineer and must be a member of any Professional Institution.
• Must have OHS Training Modules I & II.
