Job Description: 
The Public Prosecutor invites applications for 1 Vacant post for Assistant Public Prosecutor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and prosecute criminal trails and appeals in the Supreme Court, and trails and committals in the Magistrates Courts
  • Asset all briefs for sufficiency of evidence, write legal opinion and draft charges, information and other legal documents
  • Provide trials support to senior prosecutors
  • Supervise Sate prosecutor
  • Carry out such duties as may be assigned by the Public Prosecutor.

        Criteria:
        • Recognized university degree in Law or a French equivalent
        • Admission as a legal practitioner without condition; relevant post-admission experience; if any good communication and interpersonal skills, and sound computer skills
        • Applicant must provide evidence of their qualifications.

              Salary:

              		The Salary Scale of this post is JS 4.4 which is 1,552,320 vatu per annum together with a supplement of 51,000 vatu
