|  | The Program Manager will be responsible for overall management and fundraising of the coastal program project initiatives in their respective countries. |

|  | Duties and Responsibilities: | 
|  | 1) Will report to the FSPI CCP regional team | 
|  | 2) Will liaise with regional programme coordinator and advisors together with country project staffs and village development workers in the management | 
|  | 3) Work closely with country project staffs and national and regional partners | 
|  | 4) Will manage coastal project efforts across a range of technical disciplines. This includes strengthening civil society engagement by facilitating stakeholder’s participation, strengthening capacity development process using participatory and consultative approaches. | 
|  | 5) Promote social dialogue and good governance, soc-economic assessment and participate in natural resource management and strategic communications | 
|  | 6) Manage day-to-day coastal program activities in country with the local team, project partners and community MPA managers | 
|  | 7) Responsible for all substantive managerial and financial management. | 
|  | Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: | 
|  | Criteria: | 
|  | - A postgraduate in an integrated coastal management related field, preferably a masters degree in social science or, environmental management and development; At least 5 years work experience at a | 
|  | senior level, preferably in the pacific islands region in a field related to the position | 
|  | - Proven national preferably international-level representation, analysis and advocacy skills; Strong NGO fund raising skills, including experience in seeking and managing donor grants projects and | 
|  | monitoring and evaluation frameworks; Proven track record of project management experience with donor projects or similar in country projects in Melanesia | 
|  | - Demonstrated very good and adequate capacity for project leadership and management; Proven ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary and/or multi-cultural team; Ability to meet project | 
|  | deadlines; Ability to work, live and work within pacific island communities | 
|  | - Practical experience with participatory and consultative approaches in development work; Ability to form constructive professional relationships with PIC government representatives and | 
|  | stakeholder organisations, community leaders and chiefs. |

|  | 25,000 FJD to a maximum of 35,000 FJD |
