| | The University of the South Pacific is inviting application for the position of Science Lab Assistant. These position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible for providing support to the Lab Technician on matters relating to the Science Laboratory |
| | 2) Support the work of the Lab Technician in the management of the Emalus Science Laboratory |
| | 3) Be required to do periodics preparation and updating of inventory, placing order and follow ups for required equipment/consumables from appropriate departments in USP Suva |
| | 4) There will be expectations to carry out some tasks in DFL administration office when staff members are on leave and when directed by the Campus Director or designate. |
| | Interested applicant must have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must have a certificate in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training and professional accreditation; Preference will be given to applicant |
| | that display good organizational skills, team player, self-motivated |
| | - Have the ability to work under pressure. |
| | Salary: |
| | Vatu 201.20 to Vatu 403.41 per hour |
