| | Air Vanuatu is looking for suitable person to fill in the above position. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Responsible for developing and overseeing the training program, including the assessment, plan, implementation, facilitation, tracking, and day-to-day operations |
| | 2) Ensure that staff have the required tools, knowledge and skills to perform their jobs and support the overall operation |
| | 3) Work with all general manager, management and supervisory staff to address changes in the work environment and develop a learning culture |
| | 4) Monitors the effectiveness of training |
| | 5) Supervise and co-ordinate and undertake all duties of the training cell |
| | 6) Delegate (as required) tasks, support/oversee completion of tasks, and evaluate job performance in conjunction with relevant managers |
| | 7) Schedules compliancy and service training and secure economical training logistics |
| | 8) Supervise registration lists, confirmation letters, and all training record keeping, both manual and computer based |
| | 9) Develop/revise and keep current all training manuals and materials. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - University qualification in the social sciences or humanities and five (5) years experience working in positions of increasing responsibility in a training and/or training co-ordination capacity; |
| | Excellent training/presentation skills using adult learning concepts; Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds; Ability to work independently; Excellent oral and written |
| | - Excellent organizational and time management skills; Excellent problem solving and stress management skills; Excellent public speaking and large group facilitation skill; Basic computer literacy, |
| | specifically in microsoft office; Ability to be part of a small, collaborative work team; Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekend and public holidays |
| | - Must have a certificate IV in workplace training and assessment; Additional 3 years of experience in teaching mediation/conflict resolution/communication skill or extensive history of working in |
| | related fields as a teacher, presenter, and/or trainer. |
