| | The VPF wishes to permanently appoint a person to the above position. Applicants can obtain further information about the role by contacting the VPF HR Manager, CSU Vansec House on the contact below. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Supporting the manager HR and senior HR officer with providing human resource advice and services to the VPF commissioner, executive and members |
| | 2) Confirming members eligibility for entitlements according to the police act and general orders |
| | 3) Processing members salary increments, all forms of leave and HR allowances and inputting data into HRMIS on a daily basis |
| | 4) Undertaking quality assurance for members payments and providing advice to members and senior HR officers |
| | 5) Provide support on HR matters including the VPF organisation structure and assist with the functioning of the HR section when the senior HRO is on official travel or leave |
| | 6) Maintaining members personal files and records and perform other duties as required. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the public sector; Good knowledge and experience applying VPF members terms and conditions or, the ability to quickly learn about VPF |
| | - Very good attention to detail and accuracy with work; Good computer experience with MS word, excel, access and HRMIS; Good interpersonal skills, behaviors and oral and written communication |
| | skills; Analytical ability and initiative |
| | - Qualifications and/or studies in human resource management will be an advantage in this role. |
