|  | The VPF Corporate Services Unit has recently had a major review. The Manager Human Resources is a new key role reporting directly to the Commander CSU. The Manager will be responsible for: | 
|  | preparing advice for the Commander CSU, the VPF Commissioner and Executive on all people management strategic, policy and processing aspects; | 
|  | leading a team of human resource officers in delivering the Review recommendations across | 
|  | the whole range of human resource services; and | 
|  |  | 
|  | Developing, training and mentoring members of the team. | 
|  | This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for the right person to be at the centre of a | 
|  | change management process. The VPF is seeking a mature, experienced, dynamic and committed | 
|  | individual capable of tackling difficult human resource management issues and with the confidence | 
|  | Criteria: | 
|  | - A minimum of 3 years experience in a senior human resource management role preferably in a Government of Vanuatu department or agency | 
|  | - Well developed knowledge and experience in the principal human resource functions including | 
|  | organizational structures establishment and vacancies performance appraisal recruitment promotion and selection personnel management processes recreation leave and welfare | 
|  | - A sound knowledge of the Vanuatu Government Smart stream HRMIS and Leave systems ability to develop personnel policy and review and improve personnel processes; Excellent communicator and liaison | 
|  | skills | 
|  | - A recognized tertiary qualification in human resource management and/or substantially completed relevant HRM studies and | 
|  | - Must be computer literate with excellent skills in Access and Xcel database analysis; Must understand the HR legislative requirements in the Cap 105, Police Orders and VNPF policy requirements. | 
|  | Salary: | 
|  | Remuneration reflecting the importance the VPF places on this role is offered of Vt 2,187,360 per annum. |
