This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for the right person to be at the centre of a change management process. |  | 1) Preparing advice for the commander CSU, the VPF commissioner and executive on all people management strategic, policy and processing aspects | 
|  | 2) Leading a team of human resource officers in delivering the review recommendations across the whole range of human resource services | 
|  | 3) Developing, training and mentoring members of the team. | 
|  | Interested applicant must have the following requirements: | 
|  | Criteria: | 
|  | - The VPF is seeking a mature, experienced, dynamic and committed individual capable of tackling difficult human resource management issues and with the confidence to provide sound advice; A minimum of 3 | 
|  | years experience in a senior human resource management role, preferably in a government of vanuatu department or agency; Well developed knowledge and experience in the principal human resource | 
|  | functions including organisational structures, establishment and vacancies, performance appraisal, recruitment, promotion and selection, personal management processes, recreation leave and welfare | 
|  | - A sound knowledge of the vanuatu government smart stream HRMIS and leave systems; Ability to develop personnel policy and review and improve personnel processes; Excellent communication and liaison | 
|  | skills; A recognised tertiary qualification in human resource management and/or substantially completed relevant HRM studies; Must be computer literate with excellent skills in access and excel database | 
|  | analysis | 
|  | - Must understand the HR legislative requirements in the cap 105, police orders and VBF policy requirements. | 
|  | Salary: | 
|  | Remuneration reflecting the importance the VPF places on this role is offered of Vt 2,187,360 per annum. |
