Briefly describe this specific job
We are recruiting Assistant Chief engineer.
General responsibilities
Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Recruit, induct, train and performance manage workforce.
Ensure Hotel compliance with work health safety regulations.
Develop, recommend, implement and manage the division's budget capital expenditure plan, forecasts and objectives consistent with maintaining a first-class property and management's expectations
Manage inventory and stock control of the site.
Maintain accurate records including invoicing and other organization administrative compliance.
Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary.
Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity, and a strong work ethic
Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies and rules to ensure an efficient department and well-maintained physical product
Adhere to company procurement procedures
Selection Criteria:
About you:
Passion for delivering customer service excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Results driven with an ability to prioritize and coordinate your team
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits
Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
Relevant Certificate and qualification preferred but not required
Must be able to stay organized and problem solve effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment, handling many tasks at the same time.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
