Job Desctiption:
  Key Responsibilities:
  -Perform administrative duties including: reading and writing reports, preparing memorandums and orally communicating with guests, managers, corporate office, local association, etc.
  -Critically review reports of occupancy, revenue etc.
  -Formulate complex reports
  -Manage the operations of the hotel to maximize the profitable growth of the business and ensure service and product quality to maintain and enhance the integrity of the hotel.
  -Oversee the operation of the hotel to ensure the revenues and profits are maximized, consistent with budgets and business plans
  -Ensure that overall hotel revenues are maximized by anticipating and planning for market shifts, developing and monitoring strategic marketing prospects.
  -monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness and quality of product and service throughout hotel.
  -Developing, implementing and monitoring annual business and marketing plans and participating in appropriate national marketing efforts
  -Ensure that number of market segments reached and diversify the sources of revenue
  -Formulate revenue management and ensure maximum production via different booking channels.
  -Maintain visibility with guests and key community contacts to ensure guest satisfaction and a visible presence in the local community
  -Oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service in accordance with hotels profitability goals
  -Create and maintain customer-driven hotel with a customer-keeping vision that inspires the hotel associates to do their best
  -Ensure a cross-trained and motivated employee workforce capable of meeting current and future staffing needs and delivering guest services according to quality standards
  -Ensure a strong employee culture through the direction, development and support of employees and employee oriented programs
  -Provide leadership to the departments to achieve their goals and objectives
  -Communicate the goals and objectives and inspire employees to achieve those goals
  -ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers, and employees
  -Demonstrate team building experience

  -Instill a guest service attitude in all employees

  -Interview, hire supervise and counsel department managers in the efficient operation of their respective areas
  -Meeting with, develop and delegate improvement plans for operation and review performance of management team
  -Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and approve discipline and all terminations
  -Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  -To be familiar with Warwick Hotels and Resorts policies and procedures
  -To be well-versed with the facilities and services offered by the Hotel
  -Ensure that product quality standards are met as they relate to landscaping, decorations, levels of maintenance, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in all areas of the hotel outlets
  -Ensure the assets of the hotel and the brand name are maintained through the development and recommendation of annual business and capital plans
  -Physically tour and visually inspect property on a daily basis
  -Appropriate handle associate issues in conjunction with Human Resources in line with Company polices
  -Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  -Perform any other job related duties as assigned
  
Selection Criteria:
Our ideal candidate:
  -Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a family-orientated resort or hotel environment
  -Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to deliver memorable guest experiences
  -Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  -Relevant tertiary qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be an advantage
  -Possess previous experience in hotel industry, with a good understanding of Rooms division, Food & Beverage and Events, Sales & marketing
  -You will lead by example creating an environment where your team are encouraged and motivated to be their true self each day
  -Confidence in your capability to build strong relationships, effectively resolve difficult situations and implement solutions that improve the service levels and financial results of the business
