Job Description

PACIFIC ENERGY (SSP) invites applications from suitable qualified persons for the position of Electrical Technician for its Retail and Terminals sites in Vanuatu.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria: • Must have industrial maintenance qualifications/background/experience with a preference on the maintenance electronics and electrical equipment. • Ability to supervise an industrial maintenance program. • Must be able to do plumbing maintenance works. • Must be in possession of a light vehicle driving license (Heavy Duty but not necessary). • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in electrical or Industrial Maintenance. • Ability to be self-motivated and work on weekends and emergency calls out. • Ability to report on time. • Ability to work in a team and under pressure. • Must be a computer literate. • Ability to comply with the internal Health, Safety, Security and Environment Rules and procedures. • Must be able to travel for company missions. • Being bilingual (French and English) would be an advantage. This is a long term permanent post for Port-Vila.
