The Department
of National Statistics in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management
wishes to recruit for the following position:
Job Title: Statistician for National Accounts and Trades - Economics
Post No: 3054
Grade: OS 4.4
Annual Salary: VT 1,552,320
Location: National Statistic Office (Vila)
Criteria:
- Have at least 2 years working
experience since gaining degree qualification or 5 years work experience at a
senior level combined with a suitable training
- Some professional statistical training is also
required
- A good knowledge on
spreadsheets, databases and statistical analysis packages is necessary
- Driver’s License will be convenient for this pos
- Degree or Advanced Degree in Economics/Statistics or
related subjects
- English or French, with knowledge of the other and
Bislama is a must.
