Job Description:
The Melanesian Port Vila is seeking suitable and qualified person for the following post.
Responsibilities:
- Take customer order at the counter
- Receive payment and present change to customer
- Prepares Coffee and serve beverage
- Host/hostess of the Functions
- Take reservation for customers
- Receive food and beverage orders from
waiters/waitress or customers
- Manage the POS system, float, and takings including
all charges, credit card and cash operation
- Ensure a balance of the POS system at the end of
each shift and end of day
- Perform other duties as assigned to by your head of
department

Criteria:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a hotel
F&B operations
- Possess good communications skills
- Possess strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Have the ability to work with less
supervision
- Experience in working in a team environment as an
active team player
- Be willing to work long hours during busy period
- Have good understanding of POS system
- Be a Vanuatu citizen living in Port Vila
