Missions
Ensure
TVL GSM, UMTS, HSDPA and WIMAX network is operating with highest level of
availability,
performance
and efficiency.
To
drive and coordinate installation, optimization, operation and maintenance of
all equipment
and
resources for the proper running of the network.
Activities:
- Investigate,
troubleshoot faults on the network
- Must
drive and Coordinate the schedules, workflow and responsibilities for the
operation and maintenance teams
- Synchronize
and work in close collaboration with SMC/Engineering team to update on open trouble
tickets/work orders related to network faults, QoS degradation and or customer complaints
- Ensure
Faults resolution, alarms clearing, outage restoration and performance
improvement within TVL predefined SLAs
- Operation
& maintenance (Preventive/remedial) tasks of GSM, UMTS, and HSPA &
WIMAX
- Access
network including Power and transmission
- Ensure
proper spare management to ensure adequate equipment available for a smooth running
of the operations
- Participate
in new projects/network expansion activities
- Timely
reporting on networks aspects
- Other
activities defined by the direct superior in order to fulfill all position’s
requirements.
Criteria:
Knowledge
- Bachelor
in Electrical/Electronic and communication engineering or Telecommunication
Engineering or equivalent
- At
least one year of professional in Telecommunication field
- Good
knowledge of BTS, NodeB, BSC, RNC, transmission radio, O&M tool
- Good
knowledge in Power systems.
Skills
- Fluent
English/ French and Bislama
- Good
communication skills including knowledge sharing ability.
